I was welcome to see this debut at The Fox in Atlanta, not certain why I was welcomed as everybody there was a minister or a family member…the city chairman was there, the entire cast and afterward there was my sister and I. I gave it a 3 in light of the fact that essentially they’re giving $ from the film to help halfway houses (one specifically was there that evening at the Fox)….and after the film, what did these persuasive ministers and their relatives do? Did they pause and get to know these clearly under-dressed vagrants after the film? While the children were descending the steps in pants and the best garments they could put together…..did I see any of the clearly well and embellished participants really attempt and blend or clergyman to them…..on the opposite, the mass crowd of “Christians” rushed to the open bars inside the fox to get a mixed drink, while the vagrants and their companions/family/colleagues ungracefully, and speedily left. With respect to the film, what I got from it was a person who was in serious torment and would not have benefited from outside input by current medicine….this film demonstrates the way that you can get solace from your congregation community…IF you have a place with one. For any among us that don’t, I surmise we are all alone or need to depend on our own confidence.
